Dry Cleaning Explained

The Basics

What is Dry Cleaning?

Dry cleaning is a cleaning process for clothing and textiles that uses a chemical solvent rather than water. Unlike traditional laundry that can shrink, stretch, or damage delicate fabrics, dry cleaning gently cleans and preserves the integrity of garments. This method is especially effective for removing oil-based stains and maintaining the quality of fabrics like silk, wool, and rayon. By using advanced, eco-friendly solvents, dry cleaning provides a thorough clean while being gentle on your clothes and the environment.

Inspection & Tagging

Each garment is carefully inspected for stains, damage, and specific cleaning instructions. Tags are attached to ensure garments are tracked and returned to the correct customer.

Post-Spotting

After the main cleaning cycle, any remaining stains are addressed with specialized techniques and equipment to ensure thorough removal. This includes targeted stain removal agents for persistent spots.

Cleaned garments are pressed to remove wrinkles and restore their original shape. Finishing touches, such as replacing buttons or making minor repairs, are also completed to ensure the garment looks its best.
